This collaboration represents a unique opportunity to align Canada\u2019s strengths and global expertise in this expanding field. Together we are initiating a collective effort that will foster innovation and growth, and we invite all stakeholders to contribute to the advancement and to the future possibilities in Canadian radiopharmaceutical development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Collaboratively,&nbsp;<\/strong>CQDM and CPDC are launching a call for ideas open to innovative companies and researchers from across Canada. We are searching for world-class research with&nbsp;<strong>commercial potential in<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>radiopharmaceuticals<\/strong>&nbsp;to present to the domain experts from CPDC who have created global radiopharmaceutical companies such as Fusion Pharmaceuticals and AtomVie Global Radiopharma. Proposals should focus on enhancing the development of new radiopharmaceuticals, improving medicinal products, and advancing patient outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our goal is to introduce innovative Canadian research to CPDC\u2019s investment team, and to foster interactions within the Canadian radiopharma ecosystem. Selected participants may receive direct investments or other collaboration opportunities with CPDC. In addition, selected participants will receive personalized support to access and submit a detailed application to various CQDM funding programs such as&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cqdm.org\/en\/programs\/synergiqc\/\">SynergiQc<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Research Focus Areas<\/u><\/strong>:&nbsp;We are particularly interested in the development of next generation radiopharmaceuticals, along with related technologies that enable radiopharma development and manufacturing including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Radiotherapeutics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiotheranostic pairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Unique radiopharmaceutical applications\/indications (non-oncology)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiodiagnostics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Novel radiopharma targeting approaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enhanced radiopharma development and manufacturing technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We are seeking ideas that show creativity, scientific rigor, and strong potential for real-world applications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Who can apply<\/u><\/strong>:&nbsp;Researchers from Canadian Universities, Canadian startups, SMEs, or large companies working in radiopharmaceuticals can submit ideas. Public-private partnerships between academia and industry may also apply. We welcome multidisciplinary teams that can bring diverse expertise to the table.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><u>Deadline<\/u><\/strong>:&nbsp;Submission deadline is<strong>&nbsp;July 8, 2025<\/strong>. Please submit the completed non-confidential application form to&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:appliquez-apply@cqdm.org\">appliquez-apply@cqdm.org<\/a>.
