Through this initiative, CQDM and CPDC seek to discover emerging Canadian innovations and connect promising teams with CPDC&rsquo;s scientific experts and investment team. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">CPDC has played a key role in the creation and growth of globally recognized Canadian radiopharmaceutical companies, including Fusion Pharmaceuticals and AtomVie Global Radiopharma. This Pitch Day will provide selected participants with a unique opportunity to receive feedback from CPDC, and to explore potential <strong>direct Seed and Series A investment, in-licensing, and collaboration opportunities <\/strong>in the radiopharmaceutical space. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, CQDM will offer guidance to selected participants interested in pursuing non-dilutive funding opportunities through relevant CQDM programs, including <a href=\"https:\/\/cqdm.org\/en\/programs\/synergiqc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SynergiQc<\/a> and\/or others.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Selected applicants will be invited to present their technology, company, or research program to CPDC&rsquo;s scientific experts and investment team during a virtual <strong>CQDM-CPDC Pitch Day. <\/strong>Please note that this call for ideas is not a grant competition.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Research Focus Areas<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are particularly interested in innovative technologies that address important clinical needs and demonstrate a clear pathway toward translation and commercialization, including:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Radiotherapeutics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiotheranostic pairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Novel radiopharmaceutical targets and targeting approaches<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Radiodiagnostics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New applications and indications beyond oncology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technologies enabling radiopharmaceutical discovery, development, manufacturing, or scale-up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We are seeking ideas that combine scientific excellence, innovation, and strong commercial potential to help strengthen Canada&rsquo;s position as a global leader in radiopharmaceutical innovation.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who Can Apply<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications are welcome from:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Canadian startups and SMEs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Established Canadian biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Researchers at Canadian universities and research institutions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic-industry partnerships and multidisciplinary teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Projects may be at various stages of development, provided they demonstrate innovation and potential commercial relevance in the radiopharmaceutical sector.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deadline<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Submission deadline is <strong>October 15, 2026<\/strong>. All submissions will be reviewed jointly by CQDM and CPDC. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please submit the completed <em><u>non-confidential<\/u><\/em> application pitch deck (<a href=\"https:\/\/cpdc.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/CQDM-CPDC-Call-for-Ideas-2026-Application-Form_Final.pptx\">download here<\/a>) by email to Mathieu Paquette at <a href=\"mailto:mpaquette@cqdm.org\"><strong>mpaquette@cqdm.org<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selection Process<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All submissions will be reviewed jointly by CQDM and CPDC.
